The Aberlour Casg Annamh Batch 0010 is a characterful Speyside single malt with an alcohol content of 48%, bottled in a 0.7-liter bottle. The name "Casg Annamh" means "rare casks" in Gaelic and refers to its maturation in selected Oloroso sherry casks. This imparts a rich aroma profile to the whisky with notes of ripe fruit, raisins, caramel, and subtle oak spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and balanced with hints of chocolate, spice, and sweet malt. The warm, harmonious finish perfectly rounds off this sherry-influenced single malt.
