Beschreibung
A’bunadh bedeutet auf Gälisch „das Original“ und ist Aberlours Hommage an den Gründer James Fleming. Batch 085 reifte vollständig in First-Fill-Oloroso-Sherryfässern und wurde mit kräftigen 61,3 % vol. in Fassstärke abgefüllt. Der Speyside Single Malt kommt ohne Farbstoff und ohne Kühlfiltration in die Flasche.
Im Duft verbinden sich Gewürze, Praline und würzige Orange mit dem tiefen Einfluss des Oloroso Sherrys. Am Gaumen folgen schwarze Kirschen, Trockenfrüchte, Ingwer und dunkle Schokolade. Sherry und Eichenholz geben dem cremigen, vollmundigen Whisky zusätzliche Struktur, bevor er lang, intensiv und ausgewogen ausklingt.
