Aberfeldy 15 Year Old Bolgheri Wine Casks Finish
The Aberfeldy Bolgheri Red Wine Cask is part of the Wine Cask series, in which the mild, honey-sweet whiskies of the Highland distillery are matured in rare wine casks from renowned wine regions.
This 15-year-old Aberfeldy matured initially in refill and hogshead casks before receiving a finish in Bolgheri red wine casks from Tuscany. This finish imparts additional notes of cherry, plum, and a hint of nutmeg to the whisky. The limited edition was bottled at 46% ABV, without chill filtration or added coloring.
