Dieser sechsjährige Straight Rye Whiskey stammt aus der Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. Fass #3654 ergab insgesamt 188 Flaschen. Die Einzelfassabfüllung besitzt eine Fassstärke von 60,2% vol. und wird weder kühlfiltriert noch mit Farbstoff versetzt.
Würze, Süße und Kräuternoten
Das Aromaprofil verbindet ausgeprägte Roggennoten mit süßen und kräuterigen Nuancen. Rauch ist dabei nicht Teil des Charakters.
- Duft: Zimt und Pfeffer begleiten den Roggen. Dazu kommen Karamell, Vanille, grasige Anklänge und ein Hauch Minze.
- Gaumen: Honig und dunkle Früchte ergänzen die Roggensüße. Eichenwürze und Pfeffer setzen Akzente in einer vollmundigen Textur.
- Nachklang: Langanhaltend, mit trockenen Eichennoten, Karamell und dezenten Kräutern.
