Wild Turkey Rare Breed vereint ausgewählte sechs, acht und zwölf Jahre alte Kentucky Straight Bourbons zu einem kraftvollen Small Batch. Vor der Abfüllung wird kein Wasser zur Reduzierung der Alkoholstärke zugesetzt. So gelangt der Bourbon mit 58,4 % Vol. beziehungsweise 116,8 Proof als Barrel-Proof-Abfüllung in die Flasche.
Das Aroma verbindet karamellisierten Apfel mit Honig, Vanille, Roggenwürze und angekohlter Eiche. Am Gaumen zeigen sich warme Getreidenoten, Rauch und kräftige Gewürze. Im langen Abgang bleiben Würze, Trockenfrüchte und eine langsam abklingende Wärme präsent. Die 1-Liter-Abfüllung bringt den markanten Stil von Wild Turkey besonders konzentriert ins Glas.
