The Tobermory 12 Years Old represents the unpeated side of the traditional island distillery on the Isle of Mull. This single malt matures in American oak casks and is bottled at 46.3% ABV. No coloring or chill-filtration is used, ensuring the color and texture remain as natural as possible.
The aroma combines ripe fruit with orange and other citrus notes. Floral hints, oak, vanilla, and a fine spiciness complete the profile. On the palate, sweet orange, creamy caramel, and robust vanilla emerge, accompanied by cinnamon and clove. A subtle salty nuance recalls the distillery's maritime location. The finish lingers for a long time, fading with vanilla and spices.
A well-balanced Island Single Malt that clearly highlights Tobermory's fruity and spicy style.
