Templeton Midnight Rye

Templeton Midnight Rye verbindet amerikanischen Rye Whiskey mit einem fein abgestimmten Anteil dunklen Portweins. Der Rye reift in First-Fill-Fässern aus amerikanischer Eiche; anschließend ergänzt der Portwein das würzige Roggenprofil um dunkle Frucht und eine vollere Textur. Abgefüllt wird die Spirituose auf Rye-Whiskey-Basis mit 45 % Vol.

Das Aroma zeigt dunkle Kirschen und Feigen, begleitet von fein gewürzter Orangenschale. Am Gaumen wirkt die Komposition vollmundig und ausgewogen. Zimt und Nelke treffen auf dunkle Schokolade, während der Portwein die charakteristische Rye-Würze mit einer fruchtigen Tiefe abrundet. Im langen Nachklang bleiben Trockenfrüchte und Eichenholz erhalten; ein feiner Akzent von schwarzem Pfeffer setzt den würzigen Schlusspunkt.

Eine eigenständige Interpretation von Rye Whiskey, bei der dunkle Frucht, warme Gewürze und das Roggenfundament eng miteinander verbunden sind.
