Teeling Wonders of Wood Third Edition

Teeling 's Wonders of Wood series uses exceptional wood species for barrel maturation. The third edition, like its predecessor, uses a blend of 50% malted and 50% unmalted barley, triple-distilled in a pot still.
For maturation of up to six years, fresh casks made of Swedish white oak are used. This type of oak, denser and more robust than other northern European oaks, imparts a distinctive character to the whiskey with notes of candied ginger and almond molasses – a profile unique to Irish whiskey. The whiskey is bottled at 50% ABV and without chill filtration to preserve its natural intensity.
