Sea Shepherd has found a strong partner in Padre Azul for ocean conservation—and not just in terms of taste. Together, the super-premium tequila brand from Mexico and the volunteer organization have created a limited-edition special bottling that combines enjoyment with a good cause.

The goal: With every bottle sold, support Sea Shepherd's efforts to save endangered marine life.

Sea Shepherd's Operation Milagro Tequila Reposado is dedicated to the campaign of the same name, which has been conducted annually since 2015. In cooperation with the Mexican government, the marine conservationists patrol the Vaquita Dolphin Sanctuary (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), remove illegal gill nets, and prevent poaching.

Thanks to these operations, over 200,000 meters of illegal fishing nets have been recovered, around 3,400 whales, turtles and other marine animals have been rescued alive, and countless others have been saved from death.

This reposado tequila matures for several months in oak barrels, giving it its characteristic golden color and a harmonious balance of aromas. The nose reveals delicate notes of vanilla, caramel, and a hint of agave, accompanied by a subtle spice. On the palate, it is soft and full-bodied, with a pleasant sweetness, nuances of honey, and a hint of oak. The finish is long, smooth, and elegant.
