Fassreifung und Herkunft
Dieser 2020 destillierte Single Malt markiert jedoch einen historischen Wendepunkt: Erstmals wurde Malz mit einem Phenolgehalt von 50 ppm verwendet, das über Islay-Torf gedarrt wurde.
Aromatik
Am Gaumen zeigt sich die Komplexität der dreijährigen Reifung: Eine malzige Süße trifft auf geröstete Nüsse und karamellisierte Früchte, während eine feine Eichenwürze und schwarzer Pfeffer für Struktur sorgen.
