Description
The Straight Rye Whiskey from Penelope's Classic Series features a mash bill of 93% rye and 7% malted barley. Bottled at 46% ABV, it highlights the typical spice and depth of rye while remaining balanced, complex, and pleasantly accessible.
The aroma combines fresh spearmint notes and citrus zest with baking spices and lightly toasted oak. On the palate, rye spice and black pepper meet caramelized sugar, cool herbal mint, and subtle citrus hints. The finish leaves behind almond, polished oak, spices, and a touch of mint caramel.
