Welsh Single Malt with Tawny Port Finish

With the Bad Wolf edition, Penderyn celebrates the tenth anniversary of the film studios of the same name in Cardiff. It is the thirteenth release in the Icons of Wales series. The ten-year-old single malt first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then received a finish in over 50-year-old Tawny Port Pipes.

The Welsh bottling combines floral accents with dark fruit notes and spicy hints. It is bottled at 46.0% Vol. without coloring and without chill-filtration and has a non-smoky character.

Aromas and Taste

  • Nose: Orange blossom and rose petals accompany notes of fruit cake and fig jam.
  • Palate: Stewed dark fruits meet marzipan, creamy toffee, and a subtle salty note.
  • Finish: Long-lasting, with dried apricot and a hint of nutmeg.
