Zehn Jahre Reife im PX-Sherryfass
Dieser Mortlach aus der schottischen Speyside verbindet zehnjährige Reife mit dem Einfluss eines First Fill Pedro Ximénez Butts. Der 2016 destillierte und 2026 abgefüllte Single Malt gehört zur Serie 100 Proof. Er präsentiert sich mit 57,1% vol., ohne Kühlfiltration und ohne zugesetzten Farbstoff.
Trockenfrüchte, Schokolade und Eichenwürze
Der honigfarbene, nicht rauchige Whisky bietet ein Aromenspektrum von süßen Trockenfrüchten bis zu kräftigen Gewürznoten.
- Nase: Rosinen und Feigen prägen den Duft, ergänzt durch Kakao und einen Hauch Karamell.
- Gaumen: Ein voller Körper trägt dunkle Schokolade sowie würzige Akzente von Zimt und Pfeffer.
- Nachklang: Lang anhaltend mit ausgeprägter Eichenwürze.
Wer intensive Sherrynoten schätzt, findet hier einen entsprechend geprägten Mortlach. Einige Tropfen Wasser bieten die Möglichkeit, seine Aromen bei geringerer Trinkstärke zu erkunden.
