Markers Mark INFERNO WDC
Description
With INFERNO, the WU DRAM CLAN is releasing its first Maker’s Mark Private Selection for the European market. The recipe was created in December 2025 directly at Maker’s Mark in Loretto, Kentucky. It is based on a Kentucky Straight Bourbon aged for over six years, which was then matured for nine weeks in the Limestone Cellar with ten individually selected French oak staves. Two Seared French Cuvée, three Maker’s 46, three Roasted French Mocha, and two Toasted French Spice staves give the bottling its dark, spicy character.
On the nose, dark toffee, caramelized sugar, cocoa, and roasted coffee combine with warm spices and dark fruits. On the palate, dark chocolate, espresso, and strong roasted aromas meet cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and dark caramel. French oak provides additional structure and leads to a long, warming, and increasingly dry finish. INFERNO was bottled at cask strength at 55.4% vol., is uncolored, and non-chill-filtered. The single cask bottling is limited to 270 bottles.
