The 4-year-old, rye-forward bourbon receives a six-month finish in casks that previously contained PX Sherry. This particularly sweet sherry made from sun-dried grapes brings an intense fruit and sweet note to the whiskey.
The aroma reveals dried figs and dates. On the palate, grape syrup, candied fruits, fine spices, roasted coffee, and dark chocolate follow. At 56% ABV, the Lux Row PX Sherry Finish Small Batch is robust, spicy, and full-bodied, yet remains pleasantly fruit-forward due to the sherry finish.
