Loch Lomond 8 Years 2018/2026 Remarkable Society
This exclusive Tour Edition from the Remarkable Society comes from the versatile Loch Lomond Distillery. The single malt was distilled in Swan-Neck-Pot-Stills in 2018 and matured for eight years entirely in a Second-Fill Manzanilla Butt. In 2026, cask number 3652 was bottled at cask strength of 58% Vol. The edition comprises 478 bottles; no colorants or chill filtration were used.
Manzanilla is one of the dry sherry styles and, in this full maturation, brings a clear, rather floral cask influence. The profile combines floral and fruity wine aromas with dry plum and date. Salted caramel provides a sweet-salty counterpoint and at the same time picks up on the characteristic Manzanilla influence. The robust cask strength concentrates the aromas and preserves the unadulterated character of the single cask.
A strictly limited Loch Lomond bottling where Swan Neck distillate, eight years of Manzanilla maturation, and natural cask strength come together.
