Old Rhosdhu 32 Jahre 1994/2026 Madeira Quarter Cask Thompson Bros

Old Rhosdhu bezeichnet einen historischen Spirit-Stil der Loch Lomond Distillery. Diese seltene Abfüllung wurde 1994 destilliert und nach 32 Jahren Reifezeit 2026 von Thompson Bros. in Flaschen gebracht. Die letzten zwei Jahre verbrachte der Single Malt in einem Madeira Quarter Cask. Nur 155 Flaschen wurden mit 49,4 % Vol. abgefüllt – in natürlicher Farbe und ohne Kühlfiltrierung.

Das vielschichtige Aroma verbindet reife Rancio-Noten und Holzöl mit mineralisch-erdigen Eindrücken, Beerenkompott, Cranberry und Fruchtleder. Am Gaumen wirkt der Whisky ölig und herzhaft: schwarze Senfsaat, mürber Apfel und Limette treffen auf Sternanis und frischen Estragon. Der lange, eigenwillige Nachklang bleibt würzig, herbfruchtig und erdig.
