Laphroaig 25 Years 2015 Cask Strength Edition

The Laphroaig 25 Year Old Cask Strength Edition 2015 is a limited edition from the Islay distillery, bottled in 2015 at cask strength with 46.8% ABV . This single malt matured in a combination of Oloroso, Sherry and ex - Bourbon casks, giving it a balance between smoky intensity and complex sweetness .

On the nose , notes of smoldering peat, iodine, sea salt and roasted oak unfold , complemented by citrus zest and dark chocolate. On the palate it presents itself powerful and complex with aromas of tropical fruits, dried berries, vanilla, licorice and a characteristic smokiness. The finish is long and warming with a distinct Islay note.
