This ten-year-old bottling from Laphroaig combines the distinctive character of the Islay distillery with full maturation in Bourbon barrels. Cadenhead's carefully selects only a small number of casks for each release to showcase its own interpretation of the distillery's character.
On the nose, hemp, gooseberries, and menthol meet. On the palate, lime oil, grilled langoustines, and Bramley apple follow. The finish is salty with lemon and eucalyptus.
