The Lagavulin 12 Year Old Cask Strength 2015 is the 15th edition of the annual special releases from the Islay distillery Lagavulin . This bottling matured exclusively in refill bourbon barrels and was bottled at natural cask strength of 56.8% ABV – without chill filtration and without colorings.

Flavor profile:

  • Nose: Intense peat smoke, accompanied by maritime notes, citrus fruits and a slight sweetness.

  • Palate: Strong and full-bodied with notes of smoke, salt, spices and a pleasant fruitiness.
