Kilchoman 20 Year Old Family Collection
With the Kilchoman 20 Year Old, the Islay distillery presents the oldest regularly released bottling in its history to date. The single malt belongs to the first edition of the Family Collection and was put together from selected, particularly long-matured stocks. The basis is heavily peated malt from Port Ellen Maltings with 50 ppm.
The whisky was fully matured for two decades in ex-bourbon casks. It was bottled at 49.9% ABV, without coloring and without chill-filtration. As the oldest edition in the four-part collection, this strictly limited bottling marks a special milestone in Kilchoman's development.
