This single malt from Kanosuke undoubtedly belongs to the latter category – a dram that embodies the mood of a sunset on the coast of Kagoshima and the precision of a young but tradition-conscious distillery. Bottled uncolored and non-chill filtered, this single malt retains its full, authentic texture.

Cask Maturation and Origin

For this limited edition, Master Blender Yoshitsugu Komasa combines whiskies matured in Oloroso and Cream sherry casks, subtly complementing them with portions from new American white oak. With an alcohol content of 48% vol., it possesses enough power to convey its aromas neat, yet remains equally approachable.

Aromatics

Dark cherries and tropical mangosteen notes Shimmering in a warm ocher, the whisky already reveals an inviting profile of dark cherries and the scent of a freshly baked fruitcake on the nose. On the palate, a full-bodied sweetness emerges, where the creamy texture of the sherry meets exotic mangosteen.
