Dieser Single Malt aus den schottischen Lowlands ist ein Paradebeispiel für die Verbindung von jugendlicher Dynamik und tiefgreifender Fassreifung. Ein Zusammenspiel von dunkler Frucht und Röstnoten In einem warmen Honigton schimmert das Destillat im Glas und verströmt sofort intensive Aromen von gerösteter Haselnuss und dunkler Schokolade. Die Brennerei Holyrood steht dabei im Zentrum dieser Abfüllung.
Fassreifung und Herkunft
Im Dezember 2020 destilliert, durfte dieser Brand aus gemälzter Gerste für fünf Jahre in einem ausgesuchten Oloroso Sherry Hogshead reifen, bevor er im März 2026 seine Vollendung fand. Der unabhängige Abfüller Master of Malt zeichnet für diese Selektion verantwortlich, von der weltweit lediglich 330 Flaschen existieren.
Aromatik
Am Gaumen zeigt sich eine cremige Textur, die von süßen Rosinen, Vanille und einer feinen Würze von Espresso begleitet wird.
