Glenkinchie mit 17 Jahren Oloroso-Reifung
Dieser Single Malt aus den schottischen Lowlands verbindet malzige Noten mit dunkler Frucht und trockener Würze. Der 2009 destillierte Glenkinchie reifte 17 Jahre in einem First Fill Oloroso Hogshead und wurde 2026 für die Serie Highland Laird abgefüllt. Aus Fass Nummer 300011 stammen insgesamt 265 Flaschen.
Aromen und Geschmack
- Nase: Helles Malz, Vanille und reife Äpfel sowie Birnen treffen auf dunkle Rosinen und Sherry-Süße.
- Gaumen: Malzige Grundlage mit gerösteten Mandeln und cremigem Karamell. Die Struktur zeigt sich trocken und kräftig.
- Nachklang: Würzige Eiche und eine feine pfeffrige Note.
Einzelfass in Fassstärke
Die nicht rauchige Abfüllung besitzt einen Alkoholgehalt von 56,5% Vol. und kommt ohne Farbstoff sowie ohne Kühlfiltrierung in die Flasche. Zum Verkosten bietet sich neben dem puren Genuss auch die vorsichtige Zugabe einiger Tropfen Wasser an.
