The Glenfarclas 1995/2017 Cask Strength Limited Rare Bottling is a powerful yet elegant single malt whisky from Speyside, Scotland. It was distilled in 1995 and bottled at cask strength in 2017 after 21 years of maturation in select Oloroso sherry casks. With an impressive alcohol content of 57.3% ABV, this whisky is intense, complex, and full-bodied. The nose reveals bold aromas of dark fruits, raisins, dried figs, and spicy oak. The palate is lush with notes of dark chocolate, nuts, dried fruit, and a pleasant, warming spice. The long and expressive finish is carried by a harmonious combination of sherry sweetness and woody nuances.
