Glendronach House Editions Venetian Room
With the Venetian Room from the House Editions range, Glendronach combines its signature sherry influence with notes of Italian red wine. Rachel Barrie has curated a selection of spirits from Pedro Ximénez sherry, Oloroso sherry, and Amarone red wine casks. Dark fruits, creamy dessert notes, and nutty accents define the aromatic profile.
Fruit richness and fine dessert notes
- Aroma: Tiramisu and amaretto form a creamy backdrop for dark cherries and red currants. These are complemented by dates, cocoa, and a subtle hint of vanilla.
- Taste: Sweet red plums meet almond liqueur. Maraschino cherries, chocolate, and hazelnut intensify into the impression of a fine cherry pastry.
- Finish: Forest fruits and soft hazelnut cream linger for a long time, accompanied by coffee and caramel.
The Venetian inspiration is also reflected in the design: purple hues and golden architectural motifs pick up on the theme of the edition. For tasting, we recommend enjoying it neat at room temperature in a nosing glass.
