Glenburgie 16 Years 2013/2025 James Eadie

Glenburgie is a distillery in Speyside, Scotland, founded in 1810 by William Paul under the name "Kilnflat." Over its long history, it has changed hands several times and is now owned by Chivas Brothers (Pernod Ricard).

The distillery focuses primarily on producing single malt, which is used for blends like Ballantine's, and produces approximately 4.2 million liters annually. Similar to Glen Spey, official bottlings of Glenburgie are difficult to obtain.

The 16-year maturation in first-fill bourbon barrels gives the Glenburgie tropical fruit notes, combined with vanilla and butterscotch – a delight that delights both connoisseurs and lovers of whiskies matured in bourbon barrels.
