Speyside Single Malt mit kräftigem Sherryeinfluss
Dieser zehn Jahre alte Glen Spey wurde 2015 destilliert und 2026 abgefüllt. Die Reifung im PX Sherry Quarter Cask prägt seinen konzentrierten Charakter. Mit 58,0% Vol. kommt der nicht rauchige Single Malt in Fassstärke in die Flasche.
Aromen und Geschmack
Das Profil verbindet Rosinen und Pflaumen mit Vanille und Waldhonig. Am Gaumen treffen dunkle Kirschen und Karamell auf Zimt und schwarzen Pfeffer. Mandelsüße und dezente Anisnoten begleiten den langen Nachklang.
Die Abfüllung ist nicht kühlfiltriert und kommt ohne Farbstoff aus. Einige Tropfen Wasser können die hohe Fassstärke zugänglicher machen und weitere würzige Eindrücke hervorheben.
