Character and Production
During this time, the distinctive spirit of Glen Ord and the wood of a first-fill sherry cask merged into a unity of remarkable intensity and structure. The renowned independent bottler Signatory Vintage chose a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt with cask number 1 for the entire maturation period, in which the single malt remained until the 13th. Key data: 16 years old, distilled 03.11.2009, bottled 2026, 56.4% ABV. The bottling is from Signatory Vintage.
Classification
An autumnal panorama of fruit and spice. In the glass, the whisky presents itself in a deep rust brown, which was created entirely without the addition of coloring.
