Diese besondere Originalabfüllung der Glasgow Distillery entstand anlässlich des 50-jährigen Jubiläums von Kirsch Whisky. Der Glasgow 1770 wurde 2017 destilliert und reifte neun Jahre in Palo Cortado Sherry Cask #17/228, bevor er 2026 mit 58,9 % vol. in Fassstärke abgefüllt wurde.

Der nicht rauchige Lowland Single Malt wurde weder gefärbt noch kühlfiltriert. Das einzelne nummerierte Sherryfass, die kräftige Abfüllstärke und der konkrete Jubiläumsbezug machen diese Edition zu einer eigenständigen Sonderabfüllung innerhalb der Glasgow-1770-Reihe.
