Fonseca Guimaraens Tawny Port Wine

Fonseca Guimaraens Tawny Port is a Portuguese fortified wine from the Douro Valley. It is produced by the traditional Port wine house Fonseca and belongs to the category of Tawny Ports, which are characterized by a longer maturation in wooden barrels. The alcohol content is 20% vol., and the bottle volume is 0.75 liters.

It is made from traditional grape varieties of the Douro region. After fermentation, wine spirit is added to the wine to increase the alcohol content and preserve the natural sweetness. This is followed by barrel aging, which significantly determines the wine's structure and aroma.
