Six years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask
This Highland Single Malt from the Edradour Distillery was distilled in 2020 and bottled in 2026 after six years of maturation. It was aged in a First Fill Pedro Ximénez Sherry Hogshead with cask number 36. This single cask yielded 313 bottles, bottled at a cask strength of 59.7% ABV.
The whisky displays a mahogany hue and combines dark fruit aromas with malty notes and oak. It is neither chill-filtered nor artificially colored.
Aromas and taste
- Nose: Raisins and plums, accompanied by oak and a delicate spice.
- Palate: Full-bodied with a syrupy texture, dried fruits, and distinct malt notes.
- Finish: Long-lasting with sherry notes.
