Six years of maturation in Pedro Ximénez casks
This Edradour from the Scottish Highlands combines a six-year maturation with the influence of 1st Fill Pedro Ximénez Hogsheads. The single malt was distilled in 2020 and bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 57.1% ABV. It contains no added coloring and is non-chill filtered.
This bottling is part of the Anniversary series marking Andrew Symington's 40th year in the industry. Its non-peated profile combines dark fruit aromas with sweet and spicy notes.
Aromas and taste
- Nose: Dried plums and raisins characterize the scent, complemented by honey and a hint of cinnamon.
- Palate: Dark chocolate, creamy toffee, and spicy oak define the full-bodied impression.
- Finish: Long-lasting and complex.
