18 Jahre Reifung in Amarone-Fässern
Dieser Single Malt aus den schottischen Highlands verbindet Edradours Destillat mit dem Einfluss italienischer Rotweinfässer. Auf die Destillation im Jahr 2007 folgten 18 Jahre Reifung in 1st Fill DFR Amarone Casks. Abgefüllt wurde der Whisky 2026 mit 46,0% vol. Seine Bernsteinfarbe entsteht ohne Farbstoff; auf Kühlfiltrierung wurde ebenfalls verzichtet.
Dunkle Früchte, Schokolade und Pfeffer
- Nase: Dunkle Fruchtaromen verbinden sich mit Gewürzen und einem dezenten Holzton.
- Gaumen: Schwarze Kirschen, Waldbeeren und Zartbitterschokolade prägen das Profil. Das Mundgefühl zeigt sich samtig und voll.
- Nachklang: Langanhaltend mit rosa Pfeffer und Tanninen aus dem Weinfass.
Der nicht rauchige Edradour bietet sich für den puren Genuss bei Zimmertemperatur an. So lassen sich Frucht, Würze und die Einflüsse der Amarone-Fässer in Ruhe erkunden.
