Bei diesem Deanston prägt ein deutlich wachsiger Charakter das Geschmackserlebnis. Reichlich Frucht und eine cremige Textur sorgen dabei für Balance. Im Nachklang kommt eine feine Politurnote hinzu, während das wachsige Mundgefühl dem Finish zusätzlichen Ausdruck verleiht.
Trotz der Reifung in einem Refill Barrel zeigt sich der Whisky vergleichsweise dunkel im Glas. Von dieser weltweit angebotenen Abfüllung gibt es lediglich 244 Flaschen.
