The Deanston 15 Year Old 2010/2026 The Maltman is an expressive single cask bottling with an alcohol content of 50.5%, matured in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. The long maturation imparts an intense, dark fruitiness to this Highland single malt, with hints of raisins, figs, and dates, accompanied by caramel and subtle oak spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and harmonious, with a successful balance of sweet sherry notes, chocolate, and spicy accents. The long, warming finish completes the complex profile of this 700ml bottle, which is presented naturally without chill filtration or added coloring.
