Beschreibung
Lot No. 40 wird in Windsor, Ontario, vollständig aus Roggen hergestellt. Die Small-Batch-Abfüllung entsteht in einer einzelnen Kupferbrennblase und reift anschließend in neuen Fässern aus amerikanischer Weißeiche. Damit verbindet dieser Canadian Rye Whisky traditionelle Herstellung mit einem klaren, ausdrucksstarken Roggencharakter.
Vanille, Karamell und Toffee stehen im Mittelpunkt und verleihen dem kräftigen Profil eine ausgewogene Süße. Die würzige Struktur des Roggens und der Einfluss der neuen Eiche sorgen zugleich für Tiefe und einen markanten Charakter. Abgefüllt mit 43 % vol. bleibt Lot No. 40 zugänglich, ohne seine typische Roggenwürze zu verlieren.
