Bruichladdich Octomore 17.2
Mit Octomore 17.2 zeigt Bruichladdich einen vielschichtigen Islay Single Malt, bei dem markanter Torfrauch und der Einfluss verschiedener Fassarten eng zusammenspielen. Rote und dunkle Beeren treffen auf würzige Akzente, während Zitrusnoten dem kräftigen Profil Frische verleihen.
In der Nase verbinden sich Erdbeere, Brombeere und Cassis mit erdiger Rauchigkeit, Pfeffer, Zitronenzeste und Limettenöl. Am Gaumen tritt der Torfrauch deutlicher hervor und wird von roten Früchten, Portweinwürze sowie Gersten- und Malznoten begleitet.
Der Abgang bleibt lang und klar gegliedert. Anhaltender Rauch, dunkle Früchte und würziger Portwein gehen in eine trockene, erdige Note mit zitrischer Frische über.
