Mit dem Octomore 17.1 eröffnet Bruichladdich die Seventeen Series. Die Reifung in First-Fill-Bourbon-Fässern verbindet intensive Rauchnoten mit Vanille, Birne, Malz und Anklängen an warme Süßspeisen.
Aromatik
In der Nase treffen Vanillepudding, Birnenbonbon und Malzsirup auf trockenen, erdigen Rauch, Eiche und einen Hauch Asche. Am Gaumen entfalten sich Vanille, Birne und Malz neben kräftigem Torfrauch, gerösteter Eiche und trockener Erdigkeit. Eine salzige Nuance gibt dem Zusammenspiel Kontur und Balance.
Abgang
