Bomberger's Declaration 2025 Small Batch
Michter's Bomberger's Declaration was created as a tribute to the Bomberger's Distillery, which became known as Michter's in the 20th century. This Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is aged partly in Chinquapin oak barrels and partly in American white oak barrels. The Chinquapin barrels are prepared in a special way: The wood is air-dried for three years before the barrels are charred and burnished according to precise specifications.
Both cask types then undergo a maturation period of 5 to 6 years in warehouses with controlled temperature cycles. After this careful maturation, the small batch is bottled at 108 proof, equivalent to 54% ABV.
