Dieser Blair Athol wurde 2011 in den schottischen Highlands destilliert und reifte insgesamt 14 Jahre. Ein Finish im Viognier-Weinfass verleiht dem von Berry Bros. & Rudd ausgewählten Single Malt eine besonders fruchtbetonte und aromatische Seite. Fass #308064 wurde für die Reihe „The Auld & The Bold“ mit kräftigen 56,9 % vol. abgefüllt. Insgesamt entstanden lediglich 264 Flaschen.
Im Aroma verbinden sich tropische Früchte und honigsüße Brioche mit zarten floralen Noten und einem dezent herzhaften Akzent. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Whisky cremig und vielschichtig: Kokoscreme, Aprikose und Gerstenbonbon treffen auf frische Minze, Lemon Curd und eine angenehm wachsige Textur. Der Nachklang vereint kandierten Ingwer und geröstete Eiche mit einer feinen floralen Süße.
