Arran 14 Years Old
The Arran 14 Year Old is the long-awaited return of a beloved classic from the Lochranza Distillery. It showcases the typical Arran style with clear fruit, natural sweetness, and maritime freshness. It was mainly matured in Bourbon casks, complemented by a fine proportion of Palo Cortado Sherry casks, which give the whisky additional elegance, depth, and subtle spice.
On the nose, it reveals rich fruit notes of apple, mandarin, and sweet fruit syrup, accompanied by grain sweetness and a delicate salty coastal note. On the palate, it is viscous and round with salted apple, toffee, and mango. The finish remains pleasantly long with soft oak, subtle sweetness, and a fine maritime saltiness.
As is typical for Arran, the whisky is non-chill-filtered, bottled in its natural color, and filled at 46% vol.
