Dieser 14-jährige Single Malt Scotch Whisky stammt aus der Aberlour Distillery in der Speyside und wurde von Signatory Vintage für die Cask Strength Collection abgefüllt.
Der Whisky wurde am 15. März 2012 destilliert und reifte vollständig in einem 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt mit der Fassnummer 4. Am 16. März 2026 füllte Signatory Vintage das Einzelfass mit kräftigen 61,9 % Vol. in natürlicher Fassstärke ab. Die auf 660 Flaschen limitierte Abfüllung ist ungefärbt und nicht kühlgefiltert.
In der Nase zeigen sich intensive Sherrynoten, dunkle Früchte und eine feine Würze. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Aberlour vollmundig mit süßen Trockenfrüchten, dezenter Malzsüße und Gewürzen. Der lange Nachklang verbindet Sherrysüße mit fruchtigen Nuancen.
