Nc'nean knows how to go his own way. The pioneering distillery has already made an impressive mark in terms of sustainable whiskey production - for example by being the first whiskey distillery in the UK to be certified with net zero emissions. In addition to the well-being of the planet, Nc'nean follows another path: enriching the whiskey world with new taste experiences. For this, Annabel Thomas and team enjoy innovative and experimental approaches, the results of which are published in a new, seasonal series: Huntress.

It starts with Nc'nean Huntress 2022. With the single malt in the dark recycled bottle, the distillery from the Movers peninsula is presenting the result of its experiments with yeast for the first time - the ingredient for fascinating aromas. In an unconventional way, Huntress was made with three strains of yeast. Below: DistilaMax RM. Commonly used in rum making, the strain brings out tropical fruit notes in Huntress 2022.
