Isle of Raasay Unpeated Red Wine Cask #18/249
Dyed red on the outside, these high-quality ex-Bordeaux red wine barrels are delivered to the island fresh from the châteaux of south-west France. In the first few months of aging in these casks, the spirit develops a pink hue that fades to a deeper, darker red.
Strong aromas and fruity notes develop in the spirit - including dried fruit, sultanas, grapes, Christmas cake and bread pudding.
