Glencadam 2006
Connoisseurs have been waiting in the queue for around 180 years: Glencadam distillery bottlings have only been released since 2005. However, the wait for the whiskeys from the small distillery with the red doors was worth it. The traditional Highland Single Malts give whiskey lovers wonderfully creamy moments of pleasure.
This whiskey comes from Scotland in the Highlands region. Matured for 15 years in Single White Port Pipe Barrel No. 3 and has an alcohol content of 61.1%.
This whiskey is limited to 302 bottles!
Tasting Notes
Nose: Fresh fruit salad and strawberry jam mixed with cooked rhubarb, grenadine and cloves.
Palate: Blackberry jam, fresh blueberry muffins and quince jelly, followed by rye bread, oatmeal and ginger spices.
Finish : Christmas pudding and brandy butter give way to a warming lingering nutmeg and raisin.
