Ardmore 12 years 2010/2022
This 12-year-old Ardmore whiskey from the Scottish Highlands matured in selected Oloroso butts.
The aroma is reminiscent of ripe red berries, juicy cherries, sweet raisins, roasted almonds, creamy pudding and caramel notes. Hints of apples and dark wood mix with the inviting aroma of malt beer.
The flavor is reminiscent of juicy cherries and fragrant figs for added sweetness, while toasted almonds and hazelnut toffee provide nutty undertones. All of these flavors are underpinned by a hint of wood.
The finish is long and pleasantly fruity, with just enough smokiness to balance the sweetness. Enjoy the velvety mouthfeel as the last traces of this exquisite whiskey linger in your mouth for a few seconds longer.
