nine-leaves-2018-nine-leaves-spanish
Nine Leaves 2018 Spanish Oak Single Cask #51 59.0% 0.7l

Nine Leaves 2018 Spanish Oak Single Cask #51

Nine Leaves 2018 Spanish Oak Single Cask #51 is a pure single rum with a clearly discernible barrel and aroma profile.

Cask aging and origin

This rum was distilled in 2018 and matured exclusively in an ex-Spanish Oak Cask before being bottled as part of the "Unsun Karuta" series. The artistic label design, inspired by traditional Japanese playing cards, emphasizes the cultural pride and rarity of this single cask bottling from cask number 51, which celebrates the remaining stock of the now-closed distillery. An intense experience for connoisseurs and collectors Due to its undiluted cask strength and lack of chill filtration, it is recommended to taste this rum neat at room temperature to explore the full depth of the Spanish oak.

Aromatics

An exotic tapestry of spices and fine woods On the nose, a complex bouquet unfolds, dominated by noble saffron and spicy cardamom, gently underscored by ripe figs and chestnuts. On the palate, despite its powerful 59% ABV, the distillate presents itself pleasantly smooth, with notes of pine resin and burnt sugar meeting an earthy texture. The finish is long-lasting and aromatic, characterized by fine cedarwood and a hint of turmeric, reminiscent of a balanced spiced tea in its complexity.

Product details

Distillery

Nine Leaves

Bottling

Original Bottling

Distilled

2018

Alcohol content

59.0%

Cask strength

yes

Bottle size

0.7 L

Country of origin

Japan

Type

Pure Single

Colorant

No colorant

Chill filtration

Non-chill filtered

GTIN

3700597368145

Manufacturer/Distributor

Kirsch Import GmbH & Co.
